This is where <strong>olfactory design<\/strong> comes into play to <strong>enhance the space and emotions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is scent design?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Still little known to those outside the industry, scent design refers to the <strong>art of designing the scent of a space<\/strong>. This takes into account not only the architectural, aesthetic and functional characteristics of the space, but also the sensations and memories that you want to evoke in those who experience it. It is based on knowledge of the physiology of smell, the link between smells and memory, and the psychological and therapeutic properties of fragrances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Olfactory design is not limited to diffusing a particular scent into the air, but integrates it with other elements of the design, creating a synergy between form, colour, light, sound and olfactory perception. It can therefore be defined as a form of non-verbal communication, capable of <strong>conveying a message and a certain personality<\/strong> through one of the most powerful and primordial senses we have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to include it in bathroom design<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>With olfactory design, it is possible to create a pleasant and relaxing <strong>sensory experience<\/strong> that makes you feel good and reflects the style and tastes of those who live in a space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It can influence mood and feelings of well-being thanks to the properties of the natural essences chosen. For example, fresh, citrus scents can be chosen to stimulate vitality and concentration, floral and fruity scents to promote calm and serenity, and spicy and oriental scents to ignite passion and creativity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is therefore a way to enhance the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.azzurrabagni.com\/en\/collections\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">interior of the bathroom<\/a>, creating harmony between the materials, colours and shapes of the furnishings. To include scent design in your <a href=\"https:\/\/magazine.azzurrabagni.com\/en\/category\/bathroom-design-tips-en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">bathroom design<\/a>, you can rely on an expert to <strong>match the scent to the theme and style of the room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The choice of the ideal scent for the bathroom should take into account personal preferences, but also the characteristics of the space, such as size, brightness, ventilation and humidity.
